SPECIAL MEETING ON REPAIRS TO PLUM LAKE BRIDGE

Please join us for a Special Informational Meeting on Monday, August 9th at 3:30 pm at the Plum Lake Town Hall.

Troy Schalinske, Vilas County Highway Commissioner and Dennis Mack, Project Engineer from Cedar Corporation

will be on hand to answer your questions about this project. It has been scheduled for early next summer and

it is expected that County Highway N will be closed for approximately three months for these repairs. There

will be no through traffic during this time.

As of the 2000 Census, our town population was 486. That number swells in the summer to many thousands. The town encompasses about 100 square miles.

While they may appear as separate towns for post office purposes, Sayner and Star Lake are both part of the town of Plum Lake.
